Example Workshop Topics
Resilient Leadership
This workshop discusses strategies for managing the current challenges — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual — facing leaders. Key topics in this workshop include resilient leadership, energy management and self-care, being a resilient role-model for others, and sustaining resiliency through building individual and team habits.
Engaging in Difficult Conversations
Explore what makes conversations so hard and how to engage more confidently in them. What is going on inside our brains as we navigate these conversations and why they can quickly become so emotional? Learn strategies for navigating a difficult conversation and create a plan for finally having that conversation you’ve been avoiding or dreading.
Leader as Coach
This interactive workshop unpacks the differences between telling, teaching, and coaching to identify which situations are best suited for a coaching approach. Participants will have the opportunity to hone their advocacy and inquiry skills through a small group exercise designed to enhance their ability to ask powerful, open-ended questions that stimulate the learning and development of others. Using a proven coaching model, participants will then practice coaching and being coached. The session concludes with an action plan for incorporating coaching skills and behaviors into individual leadership skillsets.
