Bringing your team to Florida for a Kick-Off or quarterly meeting? Add a leadership or bonding sailing program, and the trip will be long remembered.
You won’t be able to tell who is having more fun - your team working together to make a sailboat catch the breeze and go fast, or the dolphins likely to be playing in the bow waves.
In Florida, sailing programs are most frequently set up in Key West or the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
Because of the proximity of the Gulf Stream in the Straits of Florida, about 12 miles (19 km) south and southeast, and the tempering effects of the Gulf of Mexico to the west and north Key West boasts a mild tropical climate. The city claims to be the only US city never to have suffered a frost. In the month of January, the average low temperature is a balmy 67°F while highs stay around 75°F.
Tampa/St. Petersburg offers milder temperatures but promises similar pleasant adventures in the waves, salt and sun. Make sure to leave some time to relax on St. Petersburg’s famous white sand beaches.

"Most of our leadership program participants have never sailed before. Trepidation? Sometimes. Positive feedback? Always."
