A Taste of BoatWorks - Courageous Sailing - Boston

Join GEL, in partnership with Courageous Sailing Center, for a complimentary day of sailing in Boston Harbor on Thursday, May 26th from 12 to 5pm.

GEL builds high performance teams via active sailing and racing experiences while fine tuning their collaboration, decision making, and leadership skills – and on the 26th we’ve invited corporate leaders and their management teams, event planners and local DMCs for what promises to be a great day on the water, especially for those sailing for the first time!

On the 26th you’ll get to participate
with professionals from other companies in GEL’s BoatWorks Experience, an exciting, fast-paced team building program on Boston Harbor! GEL’s “A Taste of BoatWorks” complimentary opportunity teaches you how to sail and complete a team challenge, all under the watchful eyes of professional sailing coaches and staff. No sailing experience is required!

Space is limited so we encourage you to sign up early. If however you can’t join us on the 26th but are interested in booking a day of sailing with GEL – for your organization’s management team, association networking event, charitable foundation development efforts, regional sales team's outing or simply a group day of sailing, please call either Jay Palace at 415.601.1325 or Rob Sisti at 401.497.3919.

We’d be happy to speak with you on ways GEL’s programs and events – hosted in Boston, other U.S. port cities and abroad in partnership with great sailing schools – can impact your organization's team work and leadership skills.

Boats and Facilities

In Boston, BoatWorks is conducted in partnership with Courageous Sailing using either their fleet of J22 or Rhodes 19 sailboats. These one-design yachts are versatile, safe and highly maneuverable.

Just next door to the living history of the USS Constitution in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Courageous Sailing has been teaching Bostonians to sail since 1987. Named after the famous America's Cup 12-meter yacht, Courageous was founded to make sailing on Boston Harbor accessible to all. As a US Sailing school with expert instructors and a large fleet of fun, safe, easy-to-handle keelboats, Courageous memberships and courses are some of the best, most affordable anywhere.  And Courageous program revenue goes to support its youth program, which remains entirely free to kids in need.

BoatWorks programs for up to 60 people can be booked via our contact us form.
